The Baltic Fleet of the Russian Federation reported on an aviation exercise with practical missile and bomb strikes on a test site in the east of the Kaliningrad region.

“More than 500 military personnel are taking part in the planned combat training event, up to 20 aircraft and helicopters are involved, as well as more than 50 units of special military equipment,” the press service of the Baltic Fleet said on Tuesday.
According to her, Su-24M bombers, Su-30SM and Su-30SM2 fighters were involved in the exercise.

“The exercises were carried out at altitudes from 200 meters to 1 km, using heat-resistant practical P50-T bombs and S-8 unguided aircraft missiles on the target field at the aviation range,” the press service of the fleet said.

According to the military, more than 20 sorties were made during the exercise.
