Christening ceremony of two Type 054 A/P Frigates PNS Shah Jahan (264) and Tippu Sultan (263) held at Karachi July 20th. Federal Minister of Defense Khawaja M Asif graced the occasion.
Asif acknowledged Pakistan Navy’s efforts in ensuring seaward defense and contribution towards regional peace.
The Chief of Naval Staff marked the induction of modern ships whereby achieving a major milestone in modernizing fleet and acknowledged the support of Government of Pakistan for various PN modernization projects.
