SLNS Sindurala departed from Sri Lanka today (11 September 2026) to take part in the bilateral naval exercise SLINEX – 2026 between the Sri Lanka Navy and the Indian Navy.
The bilateral naval exercise is conducted annually with the aim of further strengthening cooperation, interoperability and professional exchange between the Indian Navy and Sri Lanka Navy. The exercise is scheduled to be conducted at Visakhapatnam, India from 14 to 18 September 2026.
Accordingly, SLNS Sindurala departed from the island to take part in the SLINEX 2026. The ship departed in accordance with naval traditions at the Port of Colombo under the supervision of the Director Naval Operations, Commodore Athula Jayaweera.
