Plasan Announcement
Plasan announces that they have signed a contract with BAE Systems for the armoring of Type 26 Global Combat Ships for the UK Royal Navy – Batch 2.
Plasan is currently delivering composite armor for the first three frigates as part of the Batch 1 contract.
The new Batch 2 contract includes composite armor for five Type 26 frigates, demonstrating the successful performance of the composite armor delivery to date in providing value for money to the Royal Navy.
