The Ministry of the Navy and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs report that, through the Mexican Navy, on July 31, ARM Papaloapan and ARM Huasteco set sail from the port of Veracruz, in compliance with the instruction of Dr. Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, Constitutional President of the United Mexican States and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces. to transfer aid supplies to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
In close collaboration between the Navy, the Ministry of the Interior, the Administration of the National Port System of Veracruz (ASIPONA Veracruz) and various federal authorities, the corresponding work was carried out for the embarkation and transfer of the support.
Papaloapan transports approximately 684 tons of inputs, while Huasteco transports approximately 34.5 tons, totaling more than 718 tons.
With these actions, Mexico reaffirms its vocation of solidarity, as well as its spirit of cooperation and humanitarian tradition with the peoples of Latin America and the world who face situations of need, strengthening the bonds of collaboration between nations.
