The Portuguese Naval Force has completed its commitment to the Counter-Unmanned Aerial System (C-UAS) exercise, which had as its main objective to test and develop doctrine for the use of weapons and sensors of naval assets in response to contemporary UAS threats, as well as to provide testing of new anti-drone equipment, in a soft kill aspect.
At the end of the exercise, which will be subject to detailed analysis, it was possible to verify the effectiveness of the weapons systems of the Bartolomeu Dias class frigates, also contributing to the preparation and proficiency of their operators.
