USS Jason Dunham (DDG 109) arrived in Limassol, Cyprus, for a scheduled port visit, Sept. 15, 2026.
Cyprus is an important regional partner. Strengthening partnerships during the port visit builds enduring relationships and demonstrates a common commitment to ensuring maritime security and regional stability, which is shared across all regional Allies and partners.

Andrew Marsh, commanding officer of USS Jason Dunham. “The Jason Dunham team is proud to represent the United States, and our Sailors look forward to experiencing the culture and hospitality of Cyprus.”
During the port visit, Jason Dunham Sailors had the opportunity to experience Cyprus’ rich cultural heritage, explore the local community and engage with the people of Cyprus.
This port visit highlights the strong relationship between the United States and the Republic of Cyprus and provides an opportunity to strengthen cooperation between the two nations. Jason Dunham’s visit demonstrates the U.S. Navy’s continued commitment to working alongside Allies and partners to promote maritime security and regional stability.
Homeported in Mayport, Florida, Jason Dunham independently deployed in August to the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations in support of U.S., Allied and partner interests. Jason Dunham is an Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer capable of conducting anti-air, anti-submarine and anti-surface warfare operations.
Commissioned in 2010, Jason Dunham is named in honor of Medal of Honor recipient U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Jason L. Dunham.
Jason Dunham is operating in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations. Headquartered in Naples, Italy, U.S. 6th Fleet conducts the full spectrum of joint and naval operations, often in concert with allied, interagency and partner forces, to advance U.S. national interests and promote security and stability in Europe and Africa.
