Rodman Polyships S.A.U., the Rodman Group shipyard specialized in the construction of all types of GRP (Glass Fiber Reinforced Polyester) vessels, has completed the year 2024 with the delivery of the first unit of the 3 new Offshore Patrol Vessels that are being built for the surveillance service of the State Tax Administration Agency.
On the 20th December, the delivered vessel left the Rodman Polyships S.A.U. facilities, in Meira-Moaña, bound for Cádiz, where she finally arrived after a smooth navigation.
The new Rodman 111 is an Offshore Patrol Vessel, built in G.R.P. and Composites whose purpose is to perform tasks of patrolling at sea, smuggling repression, interception, search, and surveillance of compliance with the national and international laws. All these tasks will be carried out with the utmost respect for the comfort and safety of the crew, consisting of 10 people.
This important contract will be completed with the delivery in 2025 of two more units of the same Rodman 111 model, which reinforces Rodman’s experience, know-how and expertise in the design and construction of large patrol vessels, consolidating the Tax Administration Agency’s relationship and confidence in this Rodman 111 model, following the delivery a few years ago of the Rodman 138, a 43 m high patrol vessel, the largest built in fiberglass reinforced polyester to date.
Main Technical Characteristics:
