Throughout the exercise, together with several naval units in Lithuania, Figueira da Foz carried out defense and shooting exercises, refueling approaches at sea and maneuvers and evolutions with ships in graduation.
As part of the support for amphibious operations, the concept “Light and Fast” was applied in office with the force of marines on mission in Lithuania. In this exercise, the support provided by the binomial of unmanned aerial system operators (SANT) proved to be very effective.
The Detachment of Sapper Divers No3, loaded on the ship, also conducted several countermeasure operations of marine mines using the AUV GAVIA, together with the deep diving team that performed identification and neutralization and inactivation tasks.
