KRI Raden Eddy Martadinata (REM)-331 which is one of the KRI elements of Satkor Koarmada II together with a foreign warship from Thailand HTMS Bhumibol Adulyadej FFG-471, in the framework of the Joint Exercise (Latma) Sea Garuda 21AB-23 carrying out the Sea Phase, taking place at Java Sea. Thursday (15/6).
The Sea Phase stage was carried out after the Presail Conference series at the Kaprang Center were received by all soldiers. The exercise starts from 14 s.d. 16 June 2023 by carrying out several exercises including Serial Departure, Tactical Maneuver, Cross Deck, Photo Exercise, VBSS Exercise, Man Over Board Exercise, Damage Control Exercise, and Publication Exercise and the fourth stage of the Post Phase on 16 June 2023 includes the Closing Ceremony onboard HTMS Bhumibol Adulyadej.
The implementation of the Sea Phase exercise aims to build opportunities for interaction and exchange of knowledge and experience between soldiers of the two countries. In addition, it is also a form of building bilateral relations and also has a positive effect in order to strengthen the relationship between the two Navies and the two countries.
