The port visit in Reykjavik marks the end of annual NATO exercise Dynamic Mongoose 23, after two challenging intense weeks.

About 1800 sailors on board of 12 ships covered an area of 200.000 square miles spanning in strategic location from Iceland to Norway. Iceland was the host nation of this exercise. Maritime patrol aircrafts (MPA), surface ships and submarines exercised together full spectrum Anti-Submarine Warfare procedures.

This exercise proved, crews are able to respond to any threats posed by sub-surface forces .
