Two assets of the Islamic Republic of Iran Navy have arrived in Malaysia for the first time for an operational visit today. The assets consist of the Auxiliary (110-3) ship SHAHID MAHDAVI and a frigate class ship IRINS DENA.
Director of Human Resources Development, Captain Erman Shahril bin Adlan of the RMN led the RMN delegation to welcome the arrival of the two ships accompanied by the RMN Central Band. Also present was the Iranian Ambassador to Malaysia, His Excellency Valiollah Mohammadi Nasrabadi.
Captain Erman Shahril and the welcoming delegation from the RMN visited both ships in a meet and greet session and were welcomed by their respective commanding officers. This visit marked a historic milestone that will be one of the foundations for strengthening bilateral relations between the RMN and the Islamic Republic of Iran Navy in the future.
