Pangkoarmada II Laksda TNI Dr. TSNB Hutabarat, MMS, represented by Danguspurla Koarmada II Laksma TNI Deny Prasetyo led the ceremony to welcome the arrival of KRI Diponegoro-365 (KRI DPN-365) after successfully attending the International Fleet Review (IFR) 2022 event in Yokosuka and Japan’s Sagami Bay in order to commemorate the 70 year of Japan Maritime Self Defense Force (JMSDF), located at Madura Koarmada II Pier, Monday (28/11).

Under the command of Marine Lt. Col. (R) Kurniawan Koes Atmadja, SE, KRI DPN-365 has carried out several activities including the Welcome Ceremony and Welcome Reception led by the Commander of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF), Open Ship, Cocktail Party, Sailing Pass with the VIP Ship JS Izumo, became the first champion in the international futsal competition or Goodwill Games, and the Multilateral Exercise SAREX, where KRI Diponegoro joined the Task Unit Rescue to search and rescue a ship that suffered a fire at sea.

In the celebration of Pangkoarmada II read by Danguspurla Koarmada II expressed gratitude and pride for the success that had been achieved in rescuing a member of the Japan Maritime Self Defense Force (JMSDF) who sank at Funakoshi Naval Base Pier, and this also received good appreciation from the JMSDF.

“The success that has been obtained is certainly not separated from the cooperation, solidity, professionalism, enthusiasm, hard work, dedication and high loyalty of all the personnel of the Task Force,” he said.

The success of KRI DPN-365 soldiers in carrying out this diplomatic task, in accordance with the order of Pangkoarmada II Admiral of the TNI TSNB Hutabarat, MMS, as an implementation of the daily order of TNI Admiral Yudo Margono that wherever TNI AL is located should provide benefits for the community, nation and country.
