The arrival of the Republic of Indonesia Warship (KRI) belonging to the Indonesian Navy, Abdul Halim Perdanakusuma AHP – 355 was welcomed directly by the Commander of the Indonesian Navy Main Base Danlantamal II, First Admiral TNI Syufenri, S.Sos., M. Si. Danlantamal directly led Merflueg KRI AHP 355 at Bukit Asam Pier, Teluk Bayur Harbor, Padang City.
In the context of law enforcement and security in the Indonesian jurisdiction, Koarmada I held a Western Region Operation by deploying KRI Abdul Halim Perdanakusuma-355.
Furthermore, this Frigate type warship while docked at Teluk Bayur Harbor will hold an Open Ship for the residents of Padang City until January 27 2024. The Open Ship aims to educate and introduce the Indonesian Navy, especially Warships, to the people of Padang City, especially to students, as the nation’s next young generation.
