Training Cruise 2025
The JMSDF will conduct Training Cruise 2025 in waters off the coast of Japan as described below.
1. Objectives
(1) To provide officer trainees with on-the-job training opportunities through sea cruises to reinforce their knowledge and skills necessary for the oversea training cruise 2025, develop their seamanship and familiarize them with life at sea (2) To improve knowledge and skills for officer trainees regarding command and visionary leadership, as well as to deepen their understanding about the current situation of Japan and the JMSDF
2. Period
March 15 – April 30
3. Participating units
(1) Commanding Officer: RADM WATANABE Hiroshi, Commander, Training Squadron,
(2) Units: JS TERUZUKI (DD116), JS UMIGIRI (DD158), JS URAGA (MST463), JS SHIMAKAZE (TV3521)
(3) Personnel
Approx. 855 persons, including graduates of the 75th General Officer Candidate Course
