In the vicinity of the Wollaston Islands, the unit found six spider crab entanglement meshes with a total length of approximately 2,000 meters of net; A total of 118 specimens of spider crab and two of spiny manta ray were recovered and returned to the sea.
Meanwhile, 23 fishing vessels between Puerto Toro and Lennox Island were also inspected, controlling the corresponding documentation, minimum security equipment, Artisanal Fishing Registry, registrations, cargo and everything necessary to comply with current regulations.
