During the campaign, general medicine, telemedicine, maternal and child health services, minor surgery, social programs, identity document processing, and other essential services were provided to the most remote and vulnerable populations in the Amazon.
This campaign involved the coordinated participation of the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Development and Social Inclusion (MIDIS), the Regional Health Directorate (DIRESA), the National Registry of Identification and Civil Status (RENIEC), the Banco de la Nación (National Bank), the Public Defender’s Office, the Juguemos Program, and personnel from the Peruvian Navy, who worked together to bring essential services to the Amazonian population.
In this way, the Peruvian Navy and the PAÍS National Program reaffirm their commitment to continue bringing health, identity, and social inclusion services to the most remote communities in the country, strengthening the presence of the State and contributing to improving the quality of life for thousands of Peruvians.
