STM is bringing its military naval engineering projects to the South Asian countries at the LIMA 2023–Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition, one of the major defense exhibitions in the Asia Pacific region.
6 Different Projects Including MİLGEM and STM500 Will Be Displayed in Malaysia
Providing its innovative indigenous engineering solutions to the Turkish Navy, as well as the Ukrainian and Pakistani Navies, STM is showcasing six different naval projects, including MİLGEM and STM500, at the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition (LIMA).
At LIMA’23, STM’s stand will showcase Türkiye’s first national corvette project, MİLGEM Ada Class, Türkiye’s first national frigate project, the İ Class Frigate, the Navy Fleet Tanker Project (PNFT) being built for the Pakistan Navy, Türkiye’s first small-sized national submarine project, STM500, STM-MPAC Multi-Purpose Attack Craft, and the Coast Guard Ship CG-3100.
Güleryüz: We Want to Be the Solution Partner of Malaysia in the Seas
Commenting on STM’s participation in the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition, Özgür Güleryüz, General Manager of STM, stated that they carry out cooperation, export, and business development activities in more than 20 countries, from South America to the Far East.
Güleryüz also stated: “Our intention is not only to showcase our products to the Asia-Pacific region, as we are also seeking to establish new collaborations in the market with a focus on the naval platform segment. We continue to express our willingness to transfer technologies to the region, and to Malaysia in particular, with a view to establishing projects that will develop domestic industries and the region as a whole, thus contributing to the long friendly alliance and friendship of Türkiye and Malaysia. With this in mind, we hope to engage in productive meetings with military and civil authorities at LIMA.”
