After their first year of study at Morosini, the students are embarked for the first time on a “gray ship” of the Navy; unique experience during which they will acquire knowledge about the conduct of navigation, maritime art and life on board.
It is the second time that Nave Etna has been used as a training ship. Thanks to the characteristics of flexibility and the ability to support logistics, the ship is able to accommodate students in their first training experience.
Before boarding, in accordance with current Navy regulations for the prevention of the spread of the COVID 19 virus, the students carried out the pharyngeal swab and carried out a period of isolation at the Naval School facilities.
