TCG Akçay minesweeper, within the scope of the Mine Countermeasures Black Sea (MCM Black Sea) Task it is participating in between July 11-22, is taking part in the tactical phase (TACEX) of the BREEZE-26 Exercise, conducted under the auspices of Bulgaria between July 13-17, 2026.
Within the scope of the exercise, on July 13, 2026, navigation/seamanship and joint training were conducted with elements of the Bulgarian and Romanian Naval Forces, while on July 14, 2026, surface gunnery and MCM operations were executed.
