“After the operation of the head order, adjustments were made to the project 23120, which improved the technical characteristics of the Bobrov. After accepting the vessel into the Navy and the ceremony of raising the Andreevsky flag, Vsevolod Bobrov will begin preparations for the inter-fleet passage to the home port of Sevastopol. I have no doubt that the crew will comfortably serve on this vessel thanks to the highly automated control system, spacious office and living quarters, and a good view from the navigating station, ”said Igor Orlov, General Director of Severnaya Verf, at the signing ceremony.

Logistics support vessel Vsevolod Bobrov is the second ship of Project 23120 built at Severnaya Verf. Thanks to crane equipment and a dynamic positioning system, it can carry out loading operations at unequipped quay walls and in the open sea. Automation class A1 provides unattended service. The hull with ice class ARC4 is designed to overcome 0.6 m thick ice.

The vessel is named after the famous football player and hockey player, Honored Master of Sports, Honored Coach of the USSR, Olympic champion Vsevolod Mikhailovich Bobrov (12/01/1922 – 07/01/1979), the only athlete in the history of the Olympic Games who was the captain of the football and hockey teams.
