Commander of the Indonesian Navy Main Base (Danlantamal) III Jakarta Brigadier General TNI (Mar) Harry Indarto, S.E., M.M. represented by Pgs. Head of the Indonesian Navy Syahbandar Service (Kadissyahal) Lantamal III Jakarta Lieutenant Colonel (P) Arief Sebastian, S.E. released the departure of the United States Navy warship USS Blue Ridge (LCC-19) located at pier 107 Tanjung Priok port, North Jakarta, Saturday (29/07/2023).

Commander of Lantamal III Jakarta in a separate place said “Goodbye and thank you for the visit and cooperation that has been well established so far between the Indonesian Navy and the United States Navy, hopefully it will bring stability to the security of the Asian region, especially in the Pacific Ocean and South China Sea. USS Blue Ridge (LCC-19) for four days in Jakarta from July 26 to 29, 2023 has carried out several activities to strengthen cooperation between the navies of the two countries, especially to enhance friendship, the spirit of navy brotherhood and also to enhance bilateral relations between Indonesia and the United States”.

The cooperative relationship between the Indonesian Navy and the United States Navy is one of the priorities based on the common interest to improve professionalism and also create stability in the Asian region, especially in the Pacific Ocean and South China Sea. This harmonious relationship will make a positive and mutually beneficial contribution to both countries, especially in the military and defense fields. USS Blue Ridge (LCC-19) sailed back to its home base in Yokosuka, Japan.
