The First Naval Area Command demonstrated its naval forces and is ready to use them to preserve the nation’s sovereignty at sea.
On November 14, 2025, Vice Admiral Chalermchai Suankaew, Commander of the First Naval Area Command, led a naval force consisting of HTMS Prachuap Khiri Khan, HTMS Thepha, and helicopters to patrol, inspect, and preserve the nation’s sovereignty and maritime interests along the Thailand-Cambodia exclusive economic zone, preventing foreign naval forces from intruding on Thailand’s maritime territory.
