Developed by ASELSAN and TÜBİTAK SAGE, Türkiye’s national and indigenous point air defense system GÖKSUR fired its first shot from a surface platform.
ASELSAN’s Point Air Defense System , one of the critical elements of Türkiye’s layered air defense system Çelikkubbe at sea, will defend the Blue Homeland against anti-ship and cruise missiles, armed/unarmed unmanned aerial vehicles, fighter jets and helicopter threats.
The GÖKSUR firing test was successfully conducted off the coast of Sinop from TCG BEYKOZ on February 16, 2025. In addition to the high-performance capabilities of the BOZDOĞAN missile, the GÖKSUR Guided Missile was developed to meet the needs of the Naval Forces thanks to its two-way data link communication.
GÖKSUR, which has a high export potential due to its modular structure and its adaptability to many frigates and corvettes, attracted great attention from visitors at the EURONAVAL 2024 Fair held in Paris.
GÖKSUR Point Air Defense System is ready to be offered to the service of our navy with the configurations of GÖKSUR 100-N VLS Vertical Launch System (Modular Vertical Launch System), GÖKSUR 100-N/StA All in One System and GÖKSUR 100-N Combat Management Integrated System.
GÖKSUR; 360-degree Threat Destruction Capability, New Generation Infrared (IIR) Seeker Guided Missile, high effectiveness against near-surface flying threats, Multiple Engagement Capability, Artificial Intelligence-supported Fire Control System, ease of integration to platforms of different sizes thanks to its modular architectural design, ability to work independently and/or integrated with the platform’s Combat Management System, Data Link and uplink/downlink mid-stage guidance capabilities will carry our Blue Homeland defense capability to higher levels.
