BAE Systems San Diego Ship Repair (BAE), San Diego, California, was awarded an $86,117,104 firm-fixed-price contract for the execution of USS Decatur (DDG 73) fiscal 2019 extended dry-docking selected restricted availability (EDSRA). This availability will include a combination of maintenance, modernization and repair of USS Decatur. This is a Chief of Naval Operations scheduled EDSRA. The purpose is to maintain, modernize and repair USS Decatur. December 19, 2018 – Maritime forces from France, Australia and the United States participated in Ship Anti-Submarine Warfare Readiness and Evaluation Measurement (SHAREM) 195 exercise in the Arabian Sea, Dec. 14-18. Participating ships included FS Cassard (D 614), HMAS Ballarat (FFH 155), USS Stockdale (DDG 106), USS Spruance (DDG 111), USS Louisville (SSN 724), and USNS Richard E. Byrd (T-AKE 4).
