USS Dewey (DDG 105) and USS Sterett (DDG 104) returned to San Diego, May 11, following a three-month deployment to the Indo-Pacific region. While deployed to U.S. 7th Fleet, the ships and crews, assigned to Amphibious Squadron 11, joined the Wasp Expeditionary Strike Group (ESG) enhancing the capabilities of the “Up-Gunned ESG.” Dewey and Sterett operated together to bring additional weapons capabilities to the traditional ESG. Success Flexes Mariner Skills

HMAS Success has been doing what she does best by providing much-needed supplies to the Fleet. Since January she has conducted 55 replenishments at sea and delivered approximately 6.5 million liters of fuel. Crew safely recovered after helicopter crash near Guam

April 26, 2017 – The entire crew, including two pilots and one aircrewman, were safely recovered by USS Dewey (DDG 105) after their MH-60R Sea Hawk helicopter crashed in waters near Guam, April 27 (local).
