US Navy Contract Announcements March 22, 2018

Bell Boeing JPO, California, Maryland, is being awarded $102,822,726 for a modification to definitize delivery order 0012 under a previously awarded contract (N00019-09-D-0008) for repair of various parts on the V-22 aircraft. Work will be performed in Fort Worth, Texas (80 percent); and Ridley Park, Pennsylvania (20 percent). Work is expected to be completed by December 2019. This modification will bring the estimated value of the contract to $344,235,155. Fiscal 2018 working capital funds (Navy) will be used as individual orders are issued and funds will not expire. US Navy orders more UAS from Insitu

January 10, 2017 – The U.S. Navy has awarded Insitu a $70.8 million contract modification under which it is procuring six Blackjack unmanned aircraft systems. Three of the full rate production Lot I RQ-21A UAS will go to the navy and the other three to the marines. The UAS consists of air vehicles, ground control stations, multi-mission (plug and play) payloads, launch and recovery equipment, and systems engineering and program management.
