USNS Mercy Arrives in Malaysia for Pacific Partnership

U.S. and partner nation personnel participating in Pacific Partnership 2018 aboard the U.S. Navy hospital ship USNS Mercy (T-AH 19), arrived in Port Kelang, Malaysia, April 16. The Pacific Partnership mission in Malaysia will feature medical exchanges, civil engineering projects, humanitarian assistance and disaster relief (HA/DR) preparedness seminars, and community outreach engagements in the greater Kuala Lumpur area. Malaysian students visit HMAS Adelaide

More than 300 school students were treated to ship tours during HMAS Adelaide’s recent visit to Port Klang, Malaysia. Taking a break before their final school exams, students from the Tuanku Ja’afar Technical Institute were full of enthusiasm after their two hour road trip to visit the ship. Visit host Petty Officer Aircrewman Dean Kinna said it was great fun to show students around the ship. “They are really interested to know more about the Navy and Australia,” he said.
