UK and allies reveal global scale of Chinese cyber campaign

December 20, 2018 – Along with its allies, the UK has announced that a group known as APT 10 acted on behalf of the Chinese Ministry of State Security to carry out a malicious cyber campaign targeting intellectual property and sensitive commercial data in Europe, Asia and the US. Treasury Sanctions Russian Federal Security Service Enablers

U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) has designated five Russian entities and three Russian individuals under Executive Order (E.O.) 13694, “Blocking the Property of Certain Persons Engaging in Significant Malicious Cyber-Enabled Activities,” as amended, and Section 224 of the Countering America’s Adversaries Through Sanctions Act (CAATSA).
