Indian Navy Completes Refit of Maldivian Coast Guard Ship Huravee

November 15, 2018 – Maldivian Coast Guard Ship (MCGS) Huravee successfully completed her refit at Naval Dockyard Visakhapatnam (ND(V)) and the ship was formally handed over to Major Mohamed Jamshad, Commanding Officer MCGS Huravee at a ceremony on 15 November 2018. The chief guest for the function, Rear Admiral Amit Bose, Admiral Superintendent ND(V) assured continued support of the Indian Navy to the Maldivian Coast Guard. Chinese ocean-going naval task group ends visits to 20 countries

A Chinese naval task group on an ocean-going visit mission came back to a naval port in Zhoushan City , Zhejiang Province of East China, on Oct 15, after completing its mission of visiting 20 countries in Asia, Africa and Europe. The task group consisted of the guided-missile destroyer Changchun, the guided-missile frigate Jingzhou and the comprehensive supply ship Chaohu.
