NZDF to provide security support at APEC 2018 in PNG

November 6, 2018 – New Zealand is deploying New Zealand Defence Force assets to Papua New Guinea to assist with security at the APEC Leaders’ Week this month. NZDF Makes World-First Southern Launch to Study Massive Waves

February 10, 2017 – The New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF) has launched a scientific device – a moored wave buoy – about 10 kilometres south of remote Campbell Island in the Southern Ocean to study waves described as “liquid Himalayas”.
