EMSA RPAS drone service to boost maritime surveillance in Croatia

July 23, 2019 – EMSA’s service of Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) is now being used by the Croatian authorities to assist them in a range of coast guard related functions including vessel traffic monitoring, search and rescue, and detection and monitoring of marine pollution. Elbit Systems Selected to Provide Maritime UAS to the European Union Maritime Safety Agency

November 1, 2018 – Elbit Systems announced today that it was awarded a framework contract to provide maritime Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) patrol services to be provided by the European Maritime Safety Agency (EMSA) to countries in the European Union.
