Royal Brunei Navy vessels, KDB DARUSSALAM and KDB DARULAMAN, successfully launched missiles during the live-fire exercise as part of the Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) 2024 multinational maritime exercise in Hawaii.

This achievement demonstrates the Royal Brunei Navy’s proficiency in operating complex weapon systems and its commitment to regional security cooperation. The successful firing strengthens Brunei’s ability to contribute to collective maritime defense efforts.

The ships’ companies immediately held a religious ceremony for the safe and successful missile firings.

RIMPAC 2024 is the world’s largest maritime exercise, providing a valuable platform for participating nations to enhance interoperability and strengthen collaborative responses to shared maritime challenges.
