Equipped with the latest technology, this ship is also armed with anti-Exocet MM40 Block 3 missiles, Vertical Launching System (VLS), Anti Air Warfare (AAW), Anti Surface Warfare (ASW), Electronic Warfare, Naval Gun Fire Support, and Naval Diplomacy .
Not only that, Bintoro continued, KRI GNR-332 also has electronic warfare capabilities supported by the Electronic Counter Measure (ECM) and Electronic Support Measure (ESM) systems on the Combat Management System (CMS). ” This capability makes KRI I Gusti Ngurah Rai a tough and effective combat platform,” explained Bintoro, in Surabaya, Tuesday (12/11).
Furthermore, Bintoro expressed his pride in the participation and reliability of KRI GNR-332 in Latma ORRUDA. “KRI GNR is a domestic product built by PT PAL Indonesia. Its participation in international exercises shows that the domestic maritime defense industry can compete with foreign maritime defense industries,” he said.
