NRP Setúbal and NRP Viana do Castelo, through daily monitoring of the Navy’s Maritime Operations Center and the commitment of naval assets, carried out, from the 25th of October until yesterday, the 30th of October, the monitoring of a ship of scientific research of the Russian Federation, Akademik Fedorov, during his stay in the Portuguese Exclusive Economic Zone.
The Navy will continue to monitor the passage of these ships, guaranteeing the permanent patrol of its maritime spaces and the safety of the Portuguese and the country at sea.
