Warships from across Southeast Asia sailed in unison on August 21, 2025, as the ASEAN Fleet Review took place off the waters of Penang, Malaysia, one of the highlights of the ASEAN Multilateral Naval Exercise (AMNEX) 2025.
The Fleet Review brought together 10 naval vessels from ASEAN member states, including the Philippine Navy’s BRP Antonio Luna FF151 – PF. Each ship stood as a proud symbol of its nation’s strength and commitment to regional security.

For the Philippine Navy, participation underscored its continuing modernization and role as a reliable partner in multilateral maritime cooperation. BRP Antonio Luna’s presence showcased the Navy’s advancing capabilities in multi-role operations, including anti-surface, anti-submarine, and limited anti-air warfare.
As the PN sails alongside ASEAN counterparts, the ASEAN Fleet Review 2025 stands as a reminder that regional peace and stability are best safeguarded through unity, mutual respect, and collective defense readiness.
