Upon arrival at the port of Lisbon October 17th, Brazilian Navy training ship Brasil fired a 21 gun salute, which were reciprocated through three pieces of artillery from the Portuguese Army, next to the Belém Tower.

The event will also mark the disembarkation of Midshipman Ramos da Silva, a Portuguese Navy Officer, who had the opportunity to participate in the ship’s voyage and visit ports in Colombia, the United States of America, the United Kingdom, Germany and France.

The Navy Museum, the Naval Academy and the Jerónimos Monastery are some of the places to visit by the Midshipmen embarked on the ship.

The Training Ship “Brasil” will be open to visitors on October 19 and 20, from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., at the Gare Marítima da Rocha Conde de Óbidos.
