In this mission, which involved teams from the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and the Atmosphere and the Hydrographic Institute, hydrographic surveys were carried out along the coast between Cabo Raso and Cabo Carvoeiro, sediment samples were collected off the coast of Nazaré, and the operational maintenance of the MONIZEE network, the operational monitoring and forecasting system for the Portuguese coastal ocean, was ensured by replacing the coastal buoy in Nazaré and the oceanic buoy in Faro, and retrieving the oceanic buoy in Sines.
