Soldiers of the Indonesian Navy Main Base I (Lantamal I) held a departure ceremony for the KRI Bung Tomo-357 at Pier 103, Ujung Baru Public Port, Belawan, on Monday (01/27/2025).
The KRI Bung Tomo-357 is a Republic of Indonesia Corvette type warship equipped with various modern weapons facilities and has high operational capabilities. Currently, the KRI Bung Tomo-357 is participating in the Multilateral AMAN Exercise 2025 in Pakistan.
Lantamal I, as one of the Indonesian Navy Bases located on international waterways, has a very strategic role. In addition to fostering maritime potential, Lantamal I is also important for providing logistical and administrative support to elements of the Indonesian Navy who are carrying out operational duties in their work areas, such as the KRI Bung Tomo-357.
