The release of the 2026 Sovereign Rupiah Expedition was held at Bintang 99 Persada Port, Batu Ampar, Batam, Thursday (2/7/2026). The activity was attended by the Commander of the Naval Regional Command (Kodaeral) IV represented by the Deputy Commander IV First Admiral TNI Ketut Budiantara, S.E., M. Han., along with the main officials of the Naval Command IV as a form of support from the Indonesian Navy for the distribution of Rupiah to the archipelago.
The release of the Sovereign Rupiah Expedition in 2026 is an effort to bring circulating rupiah banknotes to the frontier, outermost, and remote (3T) regions, as well as strengthening the state’s presence and maintaining the sovereignty of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI) in the archipelago. In this activity, the Indonesian Navy deployed elements of the KRI Beladau-643 from the Koarmada I Fast Ship Unit (Satkat) as a means of supporting the implementation of the expedition.
This activity is a manifestation of the Navy’s commitment to continue to strengthen synergy with ministries and institutions in supporting national strategic programs, especially those related to services to the community in the archipelago and emphasizing the state’s presence throughout the archipelago.
