A “state-of-the-art submarine” has been commissioned, the third ship of the “Taigei” class, and her name is “Jingei.”
Deterrence and response capabilities at sea will be further strengthened. Jingei will contribute to the defense of Japan, the Indo-Pacific region, and ultimately the peace and stability of the world, and we look forward to seeing her play an active role.
