The Israel Ministry of Defense (IMOD), Israeli Navy, and Israel Shipyards respectfully commenced the ‘Reshef’ naval vessel production with a traditional steel-cutting ceremony.

Under an agreement valued at approximately NIS 2.4B, Israel Shipyards will provide the Israeli Navy with five advanced ‘Reshef’ multi-mission vessels, developed collaboratively with the Israeli Navy.

These vessels will incorporate state-of-the-art weapon systems and innovative technologies from Israel’s defense industry.

Israel Shipyards CEO Mr. Eitan Zucker stated that the first ‘Reshef’ vessel is expected to be delivered to the Israeli Navy in approximately three and a half years, replacing the veteran ‘Nirit’ Sa’ar 4.5-class ships after four decades of service. Israel Shipyards is fully committed to the Israeli Navy and is very proud of this project.
