Two elements of the warship of the Republic of Indonesia (KRI) in the ranks of Koarmada II, namely KRI Tarakan-905 and KRI Teluk Banten-516, which are carrying out the duties of Operation Control (BKO) Guskamla Koarmada III, held an L-3-level inter-element exercise in the waters of the Java Sea, Thursday (22/10/2026). The activity was carried out in order to improve the professionalism, ability, and preparedness of soldiers in supporting the implementation of marine operations tasks, especially maintaining the security and sovereignty of Indonesian waters.

The tactical cooperation exercise included a number of training series, including Replenishment At Sea (RAS), flag hoist, FLASHEX, and Tactical Maneuver. This series of exercises aims to hone the skills of soldiers in carrying out replenishment at sea, communication using flag and light signals, and coordinated tactical maneuvers to increase the effectiveness of sea operations.

The joining of elements of KRI Koarmada II in the assignment of BKO Guskamla Koarmada III is the implementation of the direction of the Commander of the Second Fleet Commander Rear Admiral TNI I G. P. Alit Jaya, S.H., M.Si., in improving the professionalism, preparedness, and operational capabilities of soldiers and elements of the KRI. This also reflects the commitment of Koarmada II to always present a sea force that is resilient, responsive, and ready to synergize in supporting the tasks of the Indonesian Navy to maintain the security and sovereignty of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia.
