In order to the arrival of foreign warships, the Mighty Shark Soldiers of the Base Defense Marine Battalion (Yonmarhanlan) lll Jakarta carried out security for the State delegation and strengthened the security for the arrival of three Indian Navy Warships at JICT Pier 2, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta.
The three Indian Navy Warships visited for three days until October 12, 2023 such as the INS Tir (A 86) is a class Training Ship type / type of Tir Class which has dimensions of 105.85 meters long, 13.20 meters wide, 4.8 meters draft, 1,920 tons displacement, a maximum speed of 21 knots, a crew of 70 people and equipped with various weapons.
While the INS Sujata (P 56) is a classy Patrol Vessel / type Sukanya Class with dimensions of 101 meters long, 11.5 meters wide, draft 4.5 meters, displacement 1,920 tons, maximum speed 21 knots, crew 70 people and equipped with various weapons. Furthermore, the ICGS Sarathi ship is classified as a classy Patrol Boat / Samarath Class type has dimensions of 105 meters long, 13.6 meters wide, 6.2 meters draft, a maximum speed of 23 knots, a crew of 18 officers and 108 sailors and equipped with weapons.
In a different place, Yonmarhanlan lll Commander Marine Major Daniel Rudy Siswanto, M.Tr., Opsla., said that the security of this warship is part of Yonmarhanlan lll’s main task, as a base defense strike unit.
“Prioritize professionalism in carrying out duties, obey procedures, discipline and be responsible in the security of warships,” said Danyonmarhanlan III.
