The U.S. Navy officially accepted delivery of the future USS Cleveland (LCS 31) November 26th, the last of the Freedom-variant littoral combat ships.
This sleek, agile warship is ready to boost our capabilities and tackle modern threats. As the final ship in its class, LCS 31 provides enhanced speed, agility, and mission modularity for operations in near-shore environments, directly supporting maritime security, sea control, and deterrence.
Soon to be homeported in Mayport, Florida, Cleveland will support our forward presence, maritime security, sea control, and deterrence around the globe.
