After a long intensive training period, the French amphibious ship FS Mistral will moor in Stockholm June 21.

During the exercise BALTOPS 24, the ship has, among other things, carried out operations together with Swedish units from the Stockholm and Älvsborg Amphibious Regiments.

FS Mistral is a helicopter-carrying amphibious ship with landing capability and with its 200 meters in length and 32 meters in width, can carry up to 16 NH90-class helicopters and four landing craft. The ship visits Stockholm to rest the crew and replenish supplies.
Demonstration of French ability

During the BALTOPS exercise, a high-level visit was carried out on board FS Mistral, where Sweden was an invited guest. The visit offered a demonstration of French abilities and offered an opportunity for talks between the two nations.
