On November 21, 2025, the air defense frigate (FDA) Forbin conducted an evacuation exercise for nationals from the naval base of Aspretto, in Corsica.
In addition to the crew, this training mobilized soldiers from the Naval Command in Corsica (COMAR Corsica), reservists from the Armed Forces Health Service in training on board as well as middle and high school students from the Stilettu middle school and the Jules Antonini high school in Ajaccio.
Once they arrived at the naval base, the nationals were checked and their luggage searched before boarding the Forbin.
Organized as part of the preparation of the Forbin for its next operational deployment, this exercise made it possible to strengthen the link between the Army and Youth by introducing secondary school students to the world of the French Navy.
At the initiative of COMAR Corsica, this sequence concluded with an invitation on board the Forbin of the academic trio of South Corsica and members of the IHEDN.
