The AFP Western Command announces the safe arrival of Philippine Navy landing dock BRP Davao Del Sur (LD602) in Davao City on the morning of February 18 which was welcomed with a simple ceremony.
BRP Davao del Sur’s arrival marks a significant milestone in the ongoing efforts to provide aid to the affected communities of the recent flash floods brought about by heavy rainfall in the previous week. The vessel carried more than 40,000 boxes of family food packs provided by the Department of Social Welfare and Development to support communities during their times of dire need.
