The “Casa Perú” was handed over to the Navy aboard the B.A.P. Unión. This project was promoted by the Peruvian Export and Tourism Promotion Commission (PROMPERÚ) to promote the country as a destination for investment, trade, and tourism.
The “Casa Perú” will showcase products and objects representative of the country’s cultural richness, export offerings, and potential. This space will be part of the ship during the “VIEX 2025” Foreign Training Voyage, which will involve cadets from the Peruvian Naval Academy and will tour, as a Roving Embassy, ports in the United States, the United Kingdom, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands, Ireland, Spain, and Panama, between May and October.
The event was presided over by the Minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism, Úrsula León Chempén, who was accompanied by the Commander-in-Chief of the Navy, Admiral Luis José Polar Figari, and the Executive President of the Commission for the Promotion of Peru for Exports and Tourism (PROMPERÚ), Ricardo Limo del Castillo.
With Casa Perú, aboard the sail training ship B.A.P. Unión, the Navy, in its role supporting the State’s foreign policy, will contribute to the promotion of culture, diversity, and exportable products, and will project Peru’s image to the world.
