At about 6 o’clock on July 11, the Jinmapeng Branch of the Coast Guard supervised and investigated the waters south of Kinmen, and four Chinese coast guard ships approached the outer line of four restricted waters of China at the same time.

At 7 a.m., the China Coast Guard ships “14604”, “14603”, “14508”, and “14607” deliberately sailed into China’s waters in the form of 4 groups of 4 ships from the waters of Liuluo Dongfang, Southeast, Zhaishan South and Fengzui South, and we immediately dispatched coast guard boats PP-3573, PP-3585, PP-10073 and PP-10081 to adopt “1-to-1” parallel monitoring and response. The Chinese coast guard ships sailed out at 9 a.m. under the parallel monitoring of our patrol boats, and the patrol boats continued to monitor the sea area at the scene. At 10 o’clock, four Chinese coast guard ships once again intruded into the restricted waters of Kinmen, and our patrol boats immediately moved forward to take “1 to 1” monitoring, and at 12 o’clock, all Chinese coast guard ships sailed out of the restricted waters, which lasted for 2 hours.

This is the first time that the Chinese Coast Guard ship has sailed into the waters of Kinmen in July this year (113), and so far this year has intruded into the waters under our jurisdiction 31 times, which affects the safety of maritime navigation and is not conducive to reciprocal exchanges between the two sides of the strait.
